Dari Blog Obefiend – Siri 8

Satu lagi episod dalam Jelajah Blog edisi berapa ratus. Ahaha..

Selingan:

Jumaat malam, nis balik ke Perak dengan tren #21 Ekspress Langkawi dan tiba-tiba ada mesej masuk sekitar jam 11-12 macam tu. Dari seorang blogger.

Tak perlu cerita panjang, sempatlah jumpa dia sekejap. Macam mana punya sekejap tu, biarlah kami empunya memori bersama [bahasa macam orang sedang bercinta tak hengat!]. Tapi serius kelakar. Hahaha. Hampir setahun rancang akhirnya jumpa juga. Tak sampai seminit. Dalam 5-15 saat. Tak tahulah kalau ad paparazzi tak bergaji nak bawa cerita satu Perak pula kan? Silly stalkers everywhere.

Ok! Time for the show!

Tok Janggut, Dato Maharajalela, Rentap, Mat Salleh and Rosli Dhoby qualify as one because they lost their life fighting for their causes. Their deaths were then used to stir up nationalism among the people.

Nota1: Ayah kata Rosli Dhoby ada pertalian darah dengan kami. Sepupu nenek  or something like that. LOL! Tak ingat pun nama Rosli Dhoby ni ada ke tak dalam buku teks Sejarah sekolah, tapi ayah buka cerita tentang dia bila Astro buat tayangan dokumentari Suatu Ketika… Rosli Dhoby – yang nis tak sempat tengok; tak tahulah ayah sempat tengok ke tak tapi tayangan tu cuma beberapa hari. [He died at the age of 17 while the Y-generation at this age are still in Form 5 struggling with SPM.

All the way down the memory lane, nis tak pernah  expect ada apa-apa pertalian dengan mana-mana nama yang tercatat dalam sejarah Malaysia. Haha.. Jauh punya 1000++km.

Kesimpulan: Dunia ni tak sebesar mana.

Nothing to Watch Anymore

Nota2: Probably the same reason I don’t actually watch settee anymore. Cliche political drama and dying "once-awesome” series. CSI is one of my favourite. House, The Nanny – sometimes; just-for-laughs, E.R – the best of them all.

Perokok adalah spesis manusia yang amat menjengkelkan. Diorang suka hisap sesuka hati. Lepas hisap rokok, buang puntung rokok macam buang sperma masa masturbasi! Lagi ada "no smoking" sign lagi la dia nak hisap rokok. Aku rasa lah, kalau satu Malaysia letak signage "ini kawasan merokok" mesti diorang tak hisap kat situ. Aku suggest kerajaan buat special death trap untuk smokers. Buat satu area larangan merokok, lepas tu pipe in gas memasak dalam kawasan tu. Bila ada perokok nyalakan lighter aje TEBABOOOOM!! One less smoker to pollute the genetic pool!

Nota3: Macam kenal spesis manusia macam ni. Hahaha… Erk… Agak keadultan sikit =.=” Tapi death trap tu tak tahan punya gelak.

What I am right now is a political agnostic. I believe in the power and need for politics but I don’t pledge my allegiance to a particular political party. Just like religious agnostics, political agnostics are looked down like lepers for their non allegiance. I think the words atas pagar, lalang and neutral are used to define people like me. In extreme cases we might be branded as “tak ada pendirian”. I don’t know about other cultures, but in Malay culture to be branded as that is quite an insult.

Nota4: Nicely phrased. Meleisian taboo is when you don’t stay in *insert names of party or whatsoever* for a long time. Katak-lompat-parti, BN-Murtad, PAS-Murtad [since when did they started using this murtad thing for parties? And there are even Kelantan-murtad, Sarawak-murtad, Johor-murtad] and whatsoever. Craps!

Book cobbler? Nice idea! <— These are my words. Click on the link to see what he called as book cobbler. I think I need one. Hahaha…

We don't have Dato’ Lieutenant Adnan Saidi, Dato Seri Mat Kilau, Tan Sri Tok Janggut, Tun Mat Salleh, Datuk Paduka Rentap - But we have Dato’ Siti Nurhaliza, Dato’ Sheila Majid, Dato’ Shah Rukh Khan, Now you know why I think posthumous title conferment is bullshit!

Nota5: [Suppose to be 6. ignore it, then.] Did you see any Dato’ Rosli Dhoby there? Hahaha.. I would LOL to those claiming “Kami Keturunan Rosli Dhoby” on FB page. Dunno if it still exist but someone invited me to that group last year a few weeks after dad told us that Rosli Dhoby – killed Sir Duncan Steward at 15, sentenced to death and sent to the grave at age 17 – was actually granny’s cousin.

Dah habis baca preloaded pages dalam 100 entri. Time to get connected to the internet!  Oh, ya. Entri ni ditulis menggunakan WIndows Live Writer. Kalau tak mimpi bloglah tiap-tiap malam bila tak dapat online. LOL! I’m addicted to blogging.
